Ravens Roundup November 2025

Fall Sports Awards

At the Fall Athletic Awards Ceremony, the Portsmouth Abbey community gathered to reflect on an outstanding season built around the school year’s theme, “Dare To Be.” The athletic director opened by reminding students that true growth happens outside comfort zones and praised everyone for embracing that challenge throughout the fall. He called the fall season a success and urged continued effort in winter and spring.

Gratitude was extended first to the athletic department staff—Ms. DellaRusso, Mr. Wood, Mr. Howell, Mrs. Forbes, Mrs. Hobbes, and new member Mr. Hooper (Mr. Milmoe's puppy)—for their tireless work and support. Coaches were recognized for prioritizing student-athlete development over wins alone and for helping athletes take meaningful risks. Activity leaders received applause for offering diverse afternoon programs, from the fall play and horseback riding to community service and music, that have left lasting impacts on participants. Finally, the student-athletes themselves were celebrated for their full effort and the lifelong memories created with teammates and coaches.
